Sourdough
An Interchain Auth Protocol
What is Sourdough?
Sourdough is a permissionless interoperability protocol for cross-chain authentication. It allows one blockchain to authenticate another using the sender chain's signature, eliminating the need for centralized intermediaries or permissions. This empowers users to control their accounts on one chain from another seamlessly.
Why Sourdough?
Sourdough's permissionless design allows anyone to integrate its module into a Cosmos blockchain. Once integrated, the chain can enable cross-chain authentication with other blockchains that have also adopted Sourdough's modules.
This empowers developers with full control over how their dApps operate in a multi-chain environment, supporting use cases such as parallel processing, cross-chain authorization, single-chain gas fees, and more.
Designed with modularity in mind, Sourdough enables developers to configure, compose, and customize their cross-chain authorization models to meet their application's specific needs.
